It is interesting to observe that the people we admire have cultivated their inner world. They work on their #thoughts every day; They feed your #mindset to make it stronger; They live aware of their emotions, they strive to self-regulate them; They understand their #life as moments and do not govern it by traditional parameters… etc. (I could continue giving examples).
Their powerful inner world is what allows them to face challenges with their heads held high, going through tough trials but overcoming them. Their character is solid because they have “cultivated” themselves as human beings.
They look like what they are. Their focus is being and they understand that appearance comes as a consequence.
In a world that rewards appearances with “like” or “love”, we have left in the background what is not seen but which is decisive in our lives.
The cultivation of our inner #world will determine our well-being and happiness. Just an example to drive home the point:
What thoughts of energy, compassion, joy, drive, strength did you give yourself this morning? Or, even more so, this entire last week that just passed? What do you tell yourself when you start your day?
That simple example is an indicator of what is inside your inner world.
Investing in it is prolonging our well-being, it is pushing us to generate chemicals like #oxytocin, the #hug hormone and #bonds that make us happy.
What do you think of what I share here?
I will love reading you on my social networks.
Hug!
